In this project we were told to take nine pictures of similar objects that create a collection. I chose to do my scrunchies and cameras. This was a very easy project that I was able to complete very quickly and it was fun to set up each prop. I hope to do more of these.
I chose to do the category still life. This was something that I more so struggled with. I didn't know what I should take pictures of. I found some items in my room that I am in love with. I framed my favorite photo in a teal color to match the color of the succulent elephant. I am still learning the ISO. I also took a picture of my Paris alarm clock which I do not use but I am obsessed with Paris. I wish to do better for my next assignment.I chose the category of animals. I enjoyed taking these pictures of my cat, Kara. I am an animal person and chose to do this project for my love of the specified category. Photo 1 was edited with a white frame, photo 2 is the unedited version of photo 1, and the last 5 pictures resemble a few of her daily activities. I struggled mainly with ISO during this project. I hope to get better and learn new ways of taking enhanced photos.I took digital photography part 1 as a freshman in high school. I am not taking digital photography part 2 as a senior in high school. I am taking this class because I am interested in learning more about cameras and ways to take photos. I am excited to learn more and become a better photographer. This is my best photo. I enjoy looking at this photo because it brings happiness and all the colors are a nice touch. This photo is one of my top favorites because I don't get to see this child as much and she look beyond happy. This photo is one of my worst because I had waited until the last minute again but also I didn't edit this. I don't like this photo for multiple reasons. I don't think that thing this picture was necessarily a good idea. I shouldn't of put this ornament behind a for because it throws the whole picture off.
I feel that this is my best photo because it represents that all nature isn't beautiful and alive. I enjoy looking at this photo because I like that colors and I can se the texture of the leaves. This is my worst photo in my opinion. I was trying to capture Macro but I had decided to wait until the last minute to take the photos that were due the morning after. This photo is disgusting!
The first day I walked into this classroom, Mr. Bush told us to take out our cameras and take a couple pictures. Looking back on that day I was really excited to take pictures but I was afraid to ask questions because I felt like everyone understood the subject but me . The first time opening up Photoshop I was so confused and I didn't know what and of the tools did.
Looking back on today I realize how far I have came during this class and I am extremely impressed with myself and my courage to ask questions. I understand all of the manuals on the camera and personally my favorite is Shutter Speed because I like how when someone is moving I can still capture a non blurry photo. When working in Photoshop I can just open the application and know exactly what every tool does. During this week in Digital photography we were told to do a Multiple Me project. In this project we were supposed to take multiple pictures of our selves or someone else doing different things. We were supposed to take a normal photo with nobody in the photo. Then you take your pictures of the person doing the different things.
I had to import all the photos in Adobe Bridge. Then I opened all of my pictures in Adobe photoshop and in which doing this I had to click the LayerMask so that I could cut out the person and place them in my regular photo where nobody was in it and I had to repeat this process in all 3 photos. In this assignment I leaned what a LayerMask was and how it works because before I had no clue what it was, what it did, how it worked. This week during digital photography I shot Still Life. In this subject I learned that when I was taking the photos the way I was positioning my camera and having the flash on was leaving a place in the photo have a spot where the flash didn't go. In this assignment I leaned that I need to position my arms and body stance to get a good picture and make sure my folks isn't setting the picture wrong. |
